A、 The main function of gears

1. Transmission of power and torque

Gears are transmission components that can transfer power and torque from one shaft to another. 

The tooth profile design of gears can provide high transmission efficiency and enable continuous transmission at different speeds.

3. Support

The different tooth shapes and sizes of gears allow them to be used as supporting elements in mechanical structures. 

This type of action is common in devices such as motors and engines.
