Tractor flatbed trailer is a common agricultural machinery equipment widely used in fields such as agricultural operations, logistics transportation, and engineering construction. It has become an important assistant for farmers and the transportation industry with its efficient transportation capacity and good adaptability. Due to the large volume and weight of crops, corresponding mechanical equipment is required. The equipment needs to meet high-strength mechanical performance, and the truck body for loading crops needs to have a sufficiently large volume, which requires the connecting mechanism of the tractor to have sufficient tensile strength. We have designed an alloy steel ball joints and carried out heat treatment to improve performance. The integrated manufacturing ensures that there are no defects from material suppliers that affect the mechanical performance of the product. We have also designed a lubricating oil passage to ensure smooth operation during use.

2. The main types of ball joints

Tractor ball joints can be divided into hook type and pin type according to the connection method. The hook type ball head is connected to the agricultural tool through hanging ears, while the pin type is connected through a pin shaft. Meanwhile, according to the different driving methods of tractors, ball joints can also be divided into mechanical traction type and hydraulic type.
